Welcome to the class blog for Photo 1-2: Digital Photography at Lincoln High School with Lilly Windle.

Photo 1-2 

This is an introductory class focusing on digital photography and basic design in the context of a fine arts class. Students learn how to use digital cameras, scanners, printers, as well as other equipment. Students will learn basic photographic skills, creative controls, and composition through a sequence of assignments based predominantly on the elements and principles of design.  The history and aesthetics of photography is also explored.  Students will learn how to use Adobe Lightroom, PhotoShop, and other programs to create, edit, organize, and publish their works. We emphasize online presentation rather than printing of most work. Students earn one fine arts credit for this class.
